Such a nice day (after all the rain, shame the girls were back in school, though they couldn’t get there quick enough - really missed them not being around too) that I decided to throw caution to the (not quite as strong) wind and have another bash at my latest long circuit.
Polar-less because I’ve posted it back to the factory. I plonked a new (presumed fully charged) battery in the navman but it still isn’t right. Beeped away like it was on something performance enhancing and I’d finally had enough of it after 45 minutes and switched the bloody thing off. Will try it again with a definitely fully charged battery.
So, I’ve still not managed to measure it. But I’ve got a rough idea due to this carefully crafted in a couple of minutes gmap. The satellite view is most useful for the Wirral Way and the beach. Seems a long way when you plonk the marker points down. Anyway it’s about 9.8 m / 15.9 km.
Bit faster today but nothing to shout about. Stiffened up a fair bit up Stanley Road and to home. To be fair, I’d no intention of running hard, just wanting to get a longer run in. Do want to run this kind of distance quicker though.
