Red Rocks With Graham

Sunday morning trot with Graham  at 9.30 this morning down to Red Rocks. Where did Saturday’s lovely weather go?

Other blog posts to catch up on!

Out With Graham For A Trot

Met up with Graham at 8.30 this Sunday morning for a trot. An hour earlier than our normal meet-up time so I was even more stiff than I usually am of a morning. We did Red Rocks and back in a time that shouldnt be mentioned.

Sunday Trot

Out with Graham this morning and with a cool northerly wind too.

Our usual West Kirby + beach route this morning and we passed another neighbour running the other way on the sand.

Sandstorm

Totally windy again this Sunday morning for mine and Grahams run. Headed down to Meols for a change …wind assisted so a nice easy start. Ended up at Leasowe Lighthouse before turning back …not wind assisted, so a hard run back.  Turned down the footpath by the caravan park and back through Meols to home.

Frosty. Graham

Met up with Graham for a 9.30 am Sunday morning start. Frosty morning though that didn’t deter Graham from wearing shorts!

Graham wasn’t feeling 100% and I was stiff as a board having been digging in the soil for a couple of hours on Saturday afternoon.

Along the prom up to Kings Gap, Red Rocks and then along the beach to West Kirby. Turned off at Lang Lane and then Cinder Path home.

Runners In The Mist

Well okay, it wasn’t that misty, just a bit. Went out with Graham at 9.30 this morning and we did the Cinder Path plus the beach. Steady to start but not too shabby toward the end.

Shock, horror …no wind.

Out With Graham

Out with Graham this morning for a shorter run than last week. Once we were over the train line at Orrysdale Rd we ran back home. Neither of us fancied getting sand blasted down on the beach on yet another windy morning.

6.5 km in very steady 32:15

Morning Run With Graham

A 9.30 start this Sunday morning for a bit of a run with Graham. We did the Cinder path and beach loop again and managed to avoid the rain for more than half of the run. Was getting a bit wet toward the end though. Graham picked up the pace as we headed towards home and we were giving a little bit of welly as got to our road.

Still need to map this one.

Windy

Went out with Graham this Sunday morning for a bit of a run. Had I not arranged it I wouldn’t have gone out ‘cos I’ve acquired a bit of a cough and it would have been easy to talk myself out of it.

Up through Hoylake and along the Cinder Path. Through the alley and over the footbridge. Graham fancied a sea breeze so we went down Lang Lane and onto the beach. Talk about windy! A strong side wind made itself known til we reached Red Rocks. From then on we simply got blown home.

7 ish km I reckon. I’ll have to map it.

Sunday Morning Trot

Went out this morning with Graham for a not too strenuous run. In fact I was feeling so casual I didn’t even time it. Besides, Graham didn’t fancy anything too strenuous. Chris, you’re out next week okay?

Up to Market Street and along to Hoylake train station. Crossing was down so over the steps and then along the Cinder path to West Kirby. Cut through by Orrysdale Rd School, over the footbridge and then head home. Back along the prom for the view.

It’s about 6 and bit km and I’d do a map only I can’t be arsed just right now as I’m too busy finishing things off that should’ve been finished ages ago.
