Red Rocks But A Grey Sky

A right old grey day today …I suspect our country does grey days better than anywhere else.

Feel like doing a long run but only had time for Red Rocks today as we were meeting Chris and family for the afternoon. Need to do a bit of DIY over the next day or so before the decorators arrive to revamp our lounge but I’ll see if I can sneek out to do my Wirral Way circuit - it should be lovely now that it’s autumn.

A New Running Mate

Joining my very distinguished list of mates in my blog roll is Chris with his brand new running blog.
That makes 4 mates now and one of those is my own allotment blog …I really must get out more!

Chris (another sensible chap who works from home) has dusted off his trainers and after a week or two fine tuning to sharpen up his fast-twitch muscle fibres we’ll be meeting up in Meols (next door to Hoylake) to sprint off in the direction of Leasowe Lighthouse and beyond.

Talking of running I haven’t been out since last Thursday. Was going to try and go out yesterday but ended up spending more time than planned on a search marketing proposal for a potential client. Might try and get one in today …seems hot today though so maybe I’ll do some weeding down on the plot midday and go for a run late afternoon when it should be cooler. Or I could do some work I suppose!
