Bit Windy That

Deceptively windy today – struggled up the prom to Kings Gap. Just didn’t think it was a windy day until I got down on the prom.

Was going to run around Marine Lake but after running along the beach from Red Rocks I decided to keep my feet dry and run along West Kirby prom instead.

Straight back home along Banks Road, Meols Drive and then Market Street. Not going particularly strong but enjoyed a longer effort.

Out With Graham

9am start for a run with Graham around the Orrysdale Rd circuit. 32.2o today so that’s an improvement on recent efforts.

Dear Me

Made heavy going of a late afternoon trot down to Red Rocks and back. Over 27 mins of pure plodding. Need to get over my strain and then start doing some longer runs to get back to some form of fitness.

Dear me!

Early Morning Plod

Had to drop the car off at the garage for its MOT. So, decided to get my gear on and go for a run the long way home.

Going awful ..always do first thing in the morning. About 28 mins all in.

Out With Graham

Met up with down the road Graham for our usual route around the Orrysdale Rd circuit.

Starting to feel slightly fitter.

Out With Mike

Out with Mike this lunchtime for a gentle trot and a natter.

Riversdale Road

Plodded around my Riversdale Road circuit. Plodding being the operative word as I was going bleeding awful. Think I’m over my strain  but not over my cold.  Over 42 minutes …that’s almost shocking.

Looks like there’s going to be some grafting to be had.

Lovely and sunny though down on the beach to West Kirby.

Out With Graham

Went out with Graham this Monday morning for a trot down to Red Rocks. Going bleeding awful.

What A Day To Get Back Into It

Felt like my groin area strain had recovered enough for me to go for a trot. However today wasn’t the nicest of days! Still, wrapped up warm and ventured out.

Strong easterly wind blew me and the snow up toward Hoylake and Red Rocks. On the return leg I chose the backroads before hitting the prom for the last bit.

Awfully slow time but not really bothered about that.

Bit sore tonight ..hope I didn’t return too soon.
