The Trouble With Being Tall

…is that sometimes it would seem you’re going to get a bad back. So that’s what I’ve gone and got. It’s my daughters fault of course - as I managed to pull a muscle or something when I was rinsing their flannels in the bathroom basin. Rather sore though since Friday morning.

Needed some fresh air so I decided I was okay enough to go for a run but I could feel it every so often. Fancied doing more but ended up just going to Red Rocks and back (!)

A Sunday Run For A Monday

I did one of the Sunday morning routes that I tend to do with Graham today for a slight change. Up to Red Rocks, along the beach, cut up Lang Lane, over the main road to Orrysdale and then home down the Cinder path and along through Hoylake.

Still got sore/stiff legs …I need a good stretch I think!

Out With Mike Today

A  nice trot today around Stretton with Mike today.

13km’er on The Wirral Way

Did my Wirral Way circuit today. Wind assisted on the outward - a bit. Wind hindered on the homeward leg - also a bit.

Was going alright until about the 10km mark when I started to stiffen up. Manage to get round in 1hour 3 50 something - so that’s a good minute better than my last effort.

I seem to have lost focus with my running this year for whatever reason. I should get myself back into it!

Red Rocks With Graham

Sunday morning trot with Graham  at 9.30 this morning down to Red Rocks. Where did Saturday’s lovely weather go?
