Out With Graham For A Trot

Met up with Graham at 8.30 this Sunday morning for a trot. An hour earlier than our normal meet-up time so I was even more stiff than I usually am of a morning. We did Red Rocks and back in a time that shouldnt be mentioned.

Friday Rocks

Will we ever see the end of this bloody wind? Sneaked out before tea on yet another blowy day to nip down to Red Rocks. Considering the conditions I’m quite happy with 25:31

13km Today

Did my Wirral Way circuit today on yet another windy old day. Was going alright until I started to seize up on the way home. Still, nice to do a long-un …you do find that your mind loses more clutter the longer you run

Race For Life

The two eldest females in our house ran + walked the Race For Life this morning. So Sarah was alot slower than last year but certainly enjoyed it more this year with her new running buddy. A bit more significant an event this year seeing as how my Dad is currently having his final course of chemo and has certainly had his fill of hospital stays over the last few months!

Went out myself late this afternoon. Was going crap too. I’d blame it on the heat only it was starting to thunder and the sun had gone in. Red Rocks and back with lots of little flies down on the prom.

Friday Afternoon 2-Up

Went out with Graham late this afternoon and we did the Riversdale Rd circuit.

I think Graham felt it a bit today whereas I found it alright - we normally run early morning when I’m usually a supple as sheet glass.

Quite a few lads down on the beach at West Kirby …warm sunshine with lashings of fizzy Stella clearly produces predictable behaviour.

Leggy (ex) Blonde Bares All

Yep, it was hot and I think it was the first time I had my shorts on. Lovely and warm but windy yet again. I ran down to Leasowe and it was a head wind down to Meols - actually it was a southerly wind so it wasn’t dead fast on the return leg either.

Ended up running to the sandstone turret by Leasowe Golf Club so that was a 10km’er in total.
