Progress Report On The 1000km
Back in June I decided to aim for 1000km this year.
Year to date I’m on 813km so with about 12 weeks or so left to do 187km thats about 15km each week to the end of the year. Doesn’t too bad, though there’s Christmas and I’m bound to catch the odd coughs and colds (watch this space, Sarah has got a cold now).
I’ll keep reminding myself of Cronins law:
more running = more cakes

I’ve just had a flapjack, lovely it was. YOU CAN’T HAVE ONE UNTIL YOU’VE DONE ANOTHER 10K! Does that help?

Unfortunately, we appear to be cake-less today here in Hoylake. So I’m not going running today and I’ll make do with a handful of Rich Tea Fingers.
Think I’ll go tend to my cabbages down on my neglected plot instead.
I’ve always thought that 5km was enough for a flapjack!
