Slow. But Back Out

Back out today for the first time in about 10 days. Feel like I’ve got over the chicken pox now - even if I don’t look like I have. A windy old afternoon today and I didn’t argue with it. Even so, I wasn’t going well at all and ended up with a really slow time. Still, I’d rather suffer with the running than with the pox.

Poor John - hope you’re on top of things now!

Here’s a thought from leftfield… JP here can’t do the Chester 1/2 next weekend - do you want his place? Just for an extended training run, of course :)

    Hi Steve

    Yeah, on the mend.

Chester Half …if you’d asked me that a month ago I’d have jumped at the chance. However, I’m currently way off the pace and besides we’ve got family at our this weekend.

You’re not doing yet another half are you?

NO I’m not! I’m well off the pace too. Not much running. Bit of biking (see blog). Funny old week. Debbie and Gary B are doing Chester though.

    Next Seaside maybe?

    ooh you get about!

Next seaside is next week - when Liverpool play in Champs League final so I’ll be sat on my backside watching the telly!

One after maybe for you, me, Mike and any others?
