Struggling
I’m still struggling to shake off this cold/virus bloody thing. It’s more than a cold because I’ve got a bit of an upset stomach in addition to my not uncommon problems with my sinuses and I just don’t feel 100%.
A bash at this years Liverpool half marathon is not looking likely - I don’t think I’ll be doing myself any good by hammering myself. I could just do another event a bit later on instead maybe.
Ropey of Hoylake
Tried again this afternoon but felt bleeding awful. Cut the run short and did my classic (’cos I used to run this circuit all the time) Beach Road circuit. It’s shorted than Red Rocks and hence I went a bit faster average wise but I’m well below par. Sunny enough for late afternoon though which was nice.

(S)not Really Ready
Went out today ‘cos I seemed to shaking off a heavy cold but I was somewhat below par and still rather snotty (lovely hey!). Just two runs in nearly a fortnight is not ideal preparation for the Liverpool half - hopefully I’ll pick up quick. I need to.
Just did Red Rocks and back today. Got an almighty stitch on the return along Stanley Road. That painful I went to walking pace to get rid of it. Fit or what?
