Live From The Floral Pavilion
Well, not in a Doddy kind of way - that’s next weekend.
Our daughters had their annual dance show this afternoon at The Floral Pavilion theatre in New Brighton. I watched them both do their little routines (brill!) and then sneaked out early (there’s only so much ballet I can take) to run home.
Had my shorts on under my jeans and running top under my jacket (Clark Kent style) - left them in the car, faced toward Wales and ran for home. A lot milder today but a fair bit windier than I thought it was.
Not going too bad I suppose, getting back to my usual standards perhaps. Rather suspect right now I’d rapidly wilt if I were to run that bit further though (like the Liverpool Half in the morning).
If I get accepted in the Chester event then I’ve got about 6 weeks (20-May) to prepare for it.
