Bit Of A Longer One

Went out for a longer run today and covered a new loop.

Along the prom and then Meols Drive to West Kirby. Down Banks Road and follow it round to the Moby Dick. Then along to Caldy but rather than continuing to do my Caldy loop take the sharp right and run down the car park on The Wirral Way. Then along the Wirral Way back to West Kirby and retrace.

Started well. Felt a bit grim around the 8k mark. Quite cool today but no wind for the first time in a week or so. Forgot to tape up so left nipple is a little tender. No drink either which was probably a mistake too.

    Ouch. Any chaffing?
I’ve just bought a Polar F4 for 15 quid. Stand by dull statistics :)

8 mile run - not bad at all.

I need to get my fitness back first then I’ll be able to extend my runs once again - which would be nice.

My game was off on Saturday at Ashville, Wirral. Not far from the end of the Seaside Run. The pitch was waterlogged.

I’ve eventually been able to update my two old blogs and today’s also!
