Grumble
My shoulder/back is bothering me again. Could feel it at the start though once I got warmed up it wasnt too bad - its far more uncomfortable when I’m not running.
Anyways, got 7km in today. Up to Kings Gap, along Meols Drive, over the train line, down Orrysdale and the Cinder Path then played chicken to get across the main road (not the bestest of routes this one) and down to Hoylake prom and home.
Quite mild I suppose but somewhat breezy.
Might have a day or two off and see if my back improves.

Mild Today
A nice mild day for end November though a little breezy.
Did my Riversdale Road loop today. Quite pleasant along the sand to Red Rocks and I even managed to catch a pass a fellow runner.
My right arm/shoulder is giving me quite a bit of nagging pain at the moment…quite uncomfortable.

ooh, I did at least 14 miles
You sure it was that long?
Well, if you haven’t got a gps gadget like a Navman then you might fancy making use of this useful website…gmaps pedometer
Zoom in to your location, start route recording and then double click your marker points. Seems quite accurate to me. Could be a bit of a pain if you’ve got loads of turns on your route mind.
Oh No! A Morning Run
I decided to go for a short Sunday morning run. I don’t know what it is but I’m way off the pace in the early(ish) morning. This morning was no different. Went down to Red Rocks. Good clear views of the North Wales coast as well as Hilbre Island.

Going Awful
Going awful today for whatever reason. Not eating enough cakes I guess.
Bit of a different route. Up Market Street, along the Cinder Path, up Orrysdale, over the railway bridge (not really able to run up/down the steps, so it knocks the average a little) back to Hoylake, down Kings Gap and back home along the prom.

Out Late Today
Having missed yesterday I though I wasn’t going to get out today either.
It was weather most horrid at lunchtime and besides which I needed to have another bash at fixing the bath taps (to be continued…). Managed to sneak a 5k in before tea. Walked eldest round to dance class and then went on a run down to Red Rocks and back. Seemed to be going okay, though I reckon it always feels faster in the dark. I havent been feeling on top form last day and a bit so probably did enough.

Windy After All
Having suggested to Mike earlier in the day that is wasn’t windy it turned out that it was quite windy after all.
Avoided the prom on the outward leg and ran up Market Street instead. Then up to Riversdale Road, down to and along the beach and then back home via Stanley Road. Got stopped on the beach by a dog. He wouldn’t have hurt me apparently.

Red Rocks Circuit Today
Tad cold ‘cos it was too windy. Bleedin murder running into the wind up to the end of Hoylake prom. Not nice. Its never as bad running down Stanley Road…the houses must just be enough to block the wind a bit.
Wasn’t going too great today. Average HR of 162 shows I took it easy’ish. I was really looking forward to my lunch. Running whilst starving isnt the bestest. Back home. Quick shower+shave. Hearty bowl of Sarahs homemade veg soup with buttered wholemeal toast. Needed that and then some!
As I keep being prompted to do so I suppose I’ll move this blog over to the beta version. Just like Steve already has in fact. Thing is, I’ve already got some business blogs on beta blogger (or read blockers, due to the lack of posts sometimes) and if I use my existing google account the profile wont be at all right for my running blog. What it needs to do is support multiple profiles as well as multiple blogs - each blog under an account could then have it’s own profile. Suppose I’ll have to open another google account, but boy I have been having login problems with google adwords and adsense today with my existing account.
Anyway, I’m rambling. And this blog is about running.

Out With Mike Today
Met up with Mike today for our monthly trot and we did a new route …a few little hilly bits just to stretch the old muscles.
I’m not going too bad, legs feel a little “flat” though. Suspect that my stamina is a bit better than it was a few weeks ago. What I need to do is to tot up my monthly miles to see if I’m actually doing more. Shame I haven’t been keeping my spreadsheet up-to-date since I started blogging my runs instead!

Out Today
Back out today. Stomach better. Hand not right but I run on my legs so thats ok.
Did my Riversdale Road (clockwise) today. Nowhere near as wild today as the weather has been the last few days. Was going alright I guess, a little heavy footed in parts.
Nothing much else to report.
