Running Outside

Pounding the streets of Hoylake and beyond.

Dead Polar. Terrible Runner.

Decided to go out today. Cold hasn’t gone but it’s not too bad. The sun was shining and I fancied some fresh air.

The polar was a bit troublesome from the outset and wouldn’t pick up my HR for a while. Out on the run after about 6 mins I noticed that the display was corrupt and then it finally went dead. Return to factory job I think for a battery replacement (already??) or a fault fix.

I was going absolutely awful today. Really awful.

Red Rocks and back.

    Mike says:

Polar - could be the battery. Most manufacturers do not guarantee the battery installed. Some in fact recommend immediate replacement following purchase.

I do not know what Polar’s position is on their original battery.

Could however be the LCD. Do you want me to dig out the receipt? I’ll have to have a look for it. Or was it in the box I gave to you?

In any case, please let me know what you want to do and whether or not you have the receipt or you believe I have it.

At least you got out there in the so called fresh air - it’s good for you know.
