Back Out Today

Back out in my trainers today for my first proper run in a week. Lovely day for it too.

Headed up to West Kirby, down Dee Lane and the along the prom with the intention of running back around Marine Lake. But with the tide being in it didnt take me long to get soaked attempting to straddle the lapping water on the lake wall - u-turn required. Then back along to Red Rocks along the beach and home.

Not sure of the distance as the Navman has either (a) got a flat battery or (b) switched itself off along the way. Most probably (a). 12k approx’ish or something like that. Edit: Call it 10.8 km

Start:13:13
Duration:56:40
Distance: 10.8 km
Ave speed:11.44 kph

918 kcal

HRmax=176/ave=170

    Mike says:

    Hey hey 12K. Or 7.5 miles in old money.

    That’s a pretty good effort with a good overall respectable pace too.

    Your back injury I take it must be much better now.

    Yeah not too bad - though the distance is only approx.

    Back seems okay now - slight niggle here and there, thats all.

    Intend to do another longer one later this week.
