3 Days Off Must Be Too Much

First run since last Thursdays effort and wasnt going too great. Had a stitch on the outward leg and just didnt feel that brill all the way round. Still, final time wasn’t too bad I suppose by my standards. I know…I will blame it the bloke who had the cheek to interupt my run to ask me eh mate, wheres Red Rocks? I managed to point toward Hilbre Island and say that way, drive down Stanley Road to get there.

Decent breeze about today that I felt on the way out but then when looking at the flag on the lifeboat station on the return the wind was coming straight off-shore at almost 90 degrees (how do you enter a degree char?) to the prom.

I hope to sneak a longer session in tomorrow. Red Rocks and back today.

    Mike says:

I will never understand people who try and stop runners in order to ask for directions.

I always keep running and ingore them. They could quite easily ask someone else.

I have had obsenities shouted at me in the past when I did not stop running for them… that made me even more pleased that I didn’t bother.

Don’t they realise that you may have been blasting it for 3 miles with only 200 metres left to the finish line with a good time under your belt? Stopping is not an option for me.
