Same again?
ooh yes please.
Went out later than normal for weekday today and missed the rain - well almost, just got caught in the last 5 minutes. Not so many flies today.

Well as I look out of my study window I can the rain coming down quite heavy - forecast is for much the same all day. So we’ll just have to wait and see if I’m out today.
Another day off
Legs are still sore, so I decided to take another day off.
Day off today
Wooden legs today so no running for me. Think I’ll do a short run tomorrow and then a longer one on Saturday.
As an aside, I’ve just been viewing my brother-in-laws’ brand new website that’s all about emigrating to Australia - he should know what he’s talking about because he’s done what it says on the tin and is now living in Melbourne with his family.
Bike Today
Went for bike ride this morning with Mrs JC.
Beautiful morning along the embankment to New Brighton, tide was on the way out. Turned round at the finish line for the seaside run.
Legs are stiff as planks….might even give running a complete miss tomorrow. We’ll see

An easy run today
Bit jaded today so an easy run.
Route: Up Deneshey Road, over the main road, down Bertram Drive, through the Redrow close, along main road heading back home, cross over, through Queens Park, on to prom and around the oval, up Hoyle Road and then back down Deneshey.
Feel my right ankle a bit - been noticing it for a few days now.

Have seen some Navmans on ebay, shipping from USA for approx £48 - might be tempted soon - seems like this seller has lots of them. Should get myself some new trainers first though.
My run today gets 8/10
Was going to run a 10 miler today. However, wasn’t feeling great - didn’t head-off until near 2pm and I think I was too hungry.
Heading to New Brighton and decided to turn around and head home at the 4 mile mark (reached in 30.00 approx). From 4 up to 6 miles I suspect I went a bit too hard, because the last 2 miles weren’t too pleasant.
Nice and warm though with a strong breeze that blowed me home a bit.

Legs are aching now! A visit to a local inn tonight for some Irish, black and white medicine - that should help.
A wheely warm day
Fancied biking it today for a change. Warmest day of the year !
Measured out my 10 miler to New Brighton. My original halfway came in at 4.98m, so if I now turn at the gate at the end of the prom (right by the seaside run finish) it’ll just be over at 5.04 miles.
Anyways the details:

Not feeling 100% today and that’s after giving it a miss yesterday. Met Colin & Andy yesterday over in Liverpool at Caffe Nero and definately overdosed on latte !
Anyway, a nice warm day with a stiff breeze on the outward leg.
